What I wish I’d known on day 1

The short answer

Vitamin C works with SPF, not instead of it — you need both. 2) Apply to dry skin (wet skin reduces penetration). 3) Wait 60 seconds before the next layer. 4) Store in a drawer, not on the counter (light oxidizes it). 5) Brown-orange color means it’s degraded — replace. 6) Be patient — results at 60 days, not 6.

Application mistakes to avoid:

  • Applying to wet skin (reduces penetration)
  • Layering too fast (vitamin C needs 60 sec to absorb)
  • Storing on the counter (oxidation)
