Bakuchiol is a plant compound from the Psoralea corylifolia plant that signals skin through different receptors than retinoids but produces similar effects: increased collagen, cell turnover, and reduced fine lines. Safe in pregnancy. About 80-90% of retinol’s effect at comparable concentrations.
